What to Expect at Your Visit

Your visit is private, simple, and easy to follow.

1. Arrive
You will be welcomed to a private space, where a pharmacy team member will explain the visit and answer your questions.

2. Answer a Few Questions
You will complete a short intake questionnaire and briefly speak with the pharmacist to guide your care.

3. Get Tested
You will be offered rapid HIV testing via a finger-prick, with results in about 20 minutes. Some locations also offer STI testing.

4. Start PrEP
If eligible, you may be able to start PrEP the same day. The pharmacy team will explain how it works, its side effects, and how to take it.

5. Get Follow-Up Support
You will leave with clear next steps and follow-up support, including reminders and check-ins. A community health worker may also contact you by phone.
